We had an amazing stay in a charming 17th-century manoir in Normandy. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Normandy beaches, with a French park surrounding the property and a big garden to relax in. The room was spacious, the service was exceptional, and the breakfast was delicious. We even had the unique experience of enjoying a five-course dinner, just for us! The facilities and room advantages were as described in the reviews, making our stay truly memorable.
The lack of an electric point near the bed was a minor inconvenience.

The Chateau is beautifully decorated with a touch of elegance that reminds you of a bygone era. The common areas are cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a leisurely afternoon. What I appreciated the most was how accessible the hotel was for senior guests like myself. The staff took great care of us and ensured that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have loved to see more assistance for senior guests in terms of mobility aids or services.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Château Isle Marie. The hosts, Guillaume and Anne-Christine, were warm, welcoming, and treated us like old friends. The chateau itself is stunning, with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The restoration work is impressive, and the furnishings and decor transport you to another era. Our spacious room overlooked a picturesque landscape of pastures and parkland, where we often spotted deer and even race horses from a nearby farm. The breakfast was delightful, served in a beautiful room. If you're a history lover or simply enjoy a beautiful setting and friendly service, this is the perfect place for you. Highly recommended!

The charming and antique decor of the chateau made me feel like I was living in a fairy tale. The common areas were cozy and inviting, with comfortable sofas and beautiful paintings hanging on the walls. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to assist with carrying luggage.
